Morning & Afternoon
- 10:00a - Santa Barbara Botanic Garden - Informal tour of the garden, led by Andrea Adams-Morden. Meeting at the kiosk near the entrance.
- 2:00p - Board of Directors Meeting - Contact Board president Vivian Neou if you wish to attend. Santa Barbara Botanic Garden library.
- 1:30p - Self-guided afternoon field trips. - For those not attending the Board meeting.
- Carpinteria Salt Marsh Nature Park
- Carpinteria Bluffs Nature Reserve - Website also links to several easy to visit preserves nearby.
- Carpinteria State Beach - Asphalt seeps and more.
- Toro Canyon County Park - Andrea will lead the the scheduled walk here on Sunday.
- Starting 6:00p - Food & Beverage Meet-up

- 8:00a - Light breakfast - (no charge) courtesy of San Luis Obispo chapter
- 9:00a-5:00p - Council Meeting - agenda pending
- noon - Lunch - Sandwiches and wraps from Jack's Bistro (select preferences when you register)
- 5:00p-6:30p - Social Time - Non-alcoholic beverages with appetizers (no charge). Beer nearby.
- 6:30p - Dinner - Thai buffet from Siam Elephant (select preferences when you register).
- After-dinner slide talk - John Knapp, Santa Cruz island - past, present, and future.
SUNDAY 3/22

- all day - Santa Cruz - limited to the first 18 - From Prisoner's Harbor to Pelican Bay, led by CNPS staff botanists Adam Searcy, and Ellen Dean. Sign up on registration form to get reserved seat on Island Packers ferry - $69 (pay at meeting). Trip is full (3/3), but we are accepting a waiting list.
Particpants need to check in at 8:00a. Island Packers, 1691 Spinnaker Dr #105B, Ventura, CA 93001. There are no other seats available on the boat. but you can contact Island Packers directly for info about how to snag seats that become available from cancellations and last-minute no-shows. (Refer to "3/22 Prisoner's Harbor Day Trip")
- 9:00a - Toro Canyon County Park field trip - Meet at the last parking lot, led by Andrea Adams-Morden.
